The Civilian Impact Monitoring Project (CIMP) reports on the civilian impact of armed violence in Yemen, divided into the five operational RCT/Humanitarian Hubs (Aden, Ibb, Sana’a, Sa’ada and Al-Hudaydah). In order to strengthen the operational use of the reports, CIMP issues the following reports:

Daily alerts and flash alerts (for significant events) for each Hub. These are aimed at providing timely information to field staff and programming staff of civilian impact incidents and associated protection needs, allowing for rapid response aimed at verification, needs assessment and victim assistance. The alerts are sent out by email and contain a short description of incidents. Flash alerts are sent out when new conflict developments occur, with a potential for civilian impact, or when a significant incident occurs with a particularly high civilian impact.

Weekly analytical highlights for each RCT/Hub.
These are designed to inform organisations of key conflict developments and trends in civilian impact. The weekly analytical highlights contain a summary of conflict developments, protection forecast and analysis of civilian impact incidents from the past week. Subscribers to this will also receive the quarterly in-depth analytical reports.
